Prof. Gaosheng Yao, male, 65 years old.He is the professor
of Beijing University ofTraditional Chinese Medicine, the
former director of the National TCM Training Center for
Managerial Personnel and Hygienic Control Faculty of Beijing
University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the doctor-in-chief
of the dermal surgery department of TCM, the specialist
invited by Beijing Famous Doctor House and Tong Ren Tang,
the member of the editorial board of the transaction of Beijing University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine and the member of the degree committee. Currently he holds the
posts of China TCM information Association a svice president and general-secretary.

He graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese
Medicine in 1963 and has been working in the research and
teaching section of the dermal surgery of traditional Chinese
medicine of the hospital affiliated to Beijing University of
Traditional Chinese Medicine since graduated and become the
student of professor Mingqian Fang.
Since graduated, he has been engaged in TCM administration and
the clinical performance in the field of the dermal surgery of
traditional Chinese medicine, teaching and scientific research for
40 years and achieved a great lot. So a special monthly subsidy
awarded by the State Council of our Government has been
rewarded to him.
Prof. Gaosheng Yao is knowledgeable with the solid foundation
of TCM's deferentiation of symptoms and signs, and he has a
particular work over the past masters i. e. Donghuan Li,Yi Xue
and Qingren Wang with their scientific theories and valued clinical
experience. He is good at treating immune dermatosis, with his
explanation of qi deficiency and blood stagnation under the
guidance of diagnosis and treatment on the basis of an overal
analysis of the illness and the patient's condition. His invented
medicines "the decoction of nourishing qi and dissolving the
stagnant" and "skin smoothing" have been well received by his
patients suffered with dystopia dermatosis, psoriasis, eczema,
dermatasclerosis and erythematous lupus etc..
In addition, prof. Yao integrates theory with practice fishing out the
orderliness of administering Chinese medicines. He sums up
more than ten kinds of therapeutical strategies treating flat wart,
the sequelae of herpes zoster, geriatric skin pruritus, chronic
urticaria and chloasma etc. and cures more than 1,000 cases
with mentioned above strategies successfully with 60% cure
rate and 94.6% effective rate.
Prof. Gaosheng Yao has pursued his study precisely. 20 of
his papers were published and he used to go abroad giving lectures
or joining medical team there. He did a great lot for spreading
traditional Chinese medicine.
