The drug contains fat oil, volatile oil, alka-
loids, vitamin, allantoin, saponin, sitosterol,
stigmasterol, flavones, tannin, etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
1.The drug exerted diuretic effect on human and
rabbits.
2.The drug can enhance biliation and promoted
bile discharging.
3.The drug exerted hypotensive effect, hypo-
glycemia effect and hemostatic effect.
4.Small dose could weakly excite heart, while
large dose showed inhibitory action.
5.It showed inhibitory action against Staphy-
lococcus aureus and Proteus vulgaris.

| Actions and Indications: |
The drug is used to induce diuresis, subdue
swelling, normalize the function of gallbladder,
eliminate jaundice, decrease blood pressure,
for the treatment of acute and chronic nephritis,
edema, acute and chronic hepatitis, hyperten-
sion, diabetes, urinary tract calculus, gall-
bladder tract calculous.
