Caper Euhporbia Seed contains
about 48% of fatty oils consisting of oleic
acid, palmitic acid, linolenic acid,ingenol-20-
hexadecannoate, lathyrol diacetate benzoate,
laghyrol diacetate nicotinate, 6,20-epoxyl-
thyrol, etc. and ¦Ã-euphol, ¦Á-euphorbol,
bisaesculetin, isoeuphorbetin, aesculetin,
daphnetin, kaempferol-3-glucuronide, etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
The seeds contain fixed
oil,and are colorless and tasteless when fresh,
but become putrid and pungent after a short
while and are stimulant to gastric intestine.
They have strong cathartic effect, which is
three times stronger than that of ricinic oil.
The active laxative ingredient is euphobia-
steroid. The primary screening tests show that
the fresh herb showed inhibitory action on
white blood cells of acute lymphocytic leukemia,
acute granulocytic leukemia, chronic granulo-
cytic leukemia, acute monocytic leukemia.
