| Pharmacology Actions: |
Fruit elliptic, obtuse 3-ribbed; 2-4cm long,
1-2.5cm in diameter, externally red brown or
gray brown, showing many conspicuous longitu-
dinal furrows and ribbed lines; showing one
round prominent calyx remain at top, and stalk
or stalk scar at base. Bark tough, inner sur-
face pale brown, shiny. Fruit 3-celled, seeds
8-11 in each cell. Seed conic, about 5mm wide
and long, externally red brown,covered by gray
white membranous aril. Seed coat hard, emdo-
sperm gray white. Seed fragrant,taste pungent.
