| Pharmacology Actions: |
Tests proved that intravenous injection of C. officinalis signi-
ficantly increased the blood pressure of rabbit
with hemorrhagic shock. It also exhibited inhi-
bitory action on platelet aggregation, and
against thrombosis and relieved the formation
of DIC. Its injection increased contractility
of its cardiac muscles and improved the heart
efficiency and dilated peripheral blood vessel.
It had antidiabetic action and significantly
lowered blood glucose on experimental diabetic
animals. It also showed anti-bacterial effect.
In vitro it was lethal to ascites carcinoma
cells.

treatment of dizziness, tinnitus, soreness in
the loins and knees, impotence, enuresis,
frequency of urination, diabetes.
