Cnidium fruit contains volatile oil
consisting of pinene, carene, osthol, columbia-
nadin, archangelicin, bergapten, edultin,
isopimpinellin, etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
The experiments proved
that the fluid extract had anti-trichomonas
action and the ethanol extract showed estrogen-
like action. In vitro it had inhibitory actions
against Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum
lanosum and new-city virus cultured in chicken
embryo.

| Actions and Indications: |
The drug is used to
warm the kidney, to promote virility, to kill
parasites; for the treatment of impotence,
frigidity, morbid leukorrhea, lumbago,external
