The wheat contains 53-70 percent of starch,about
11percent of protein,2-7 percent of saccharides,
percent of fat, 2 percent of coarse fibre. It
also contains sitosterol, lecithin, allantoin,
amino acid, vitamin, etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
Oblong, both ends slightly acute, up to 6 mm
long, 1.5-2.5 mm wide. Externally yellow white
or yellowish brown,slightly shrunken,one longi-
tudinal groove on vertral surface, one part ob-
tuse, yellow white villose,other part oblique
pointed, with hilum. Texture hard, fractured
surface white,powdery.Odour slightly,tasteless.
