The drug contains 1-nor-adrenaline,
dopamine, dopa, saponins, resin, fats and oils,
vitamin A, B1, B2, P and C, etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
In vitro studies that
it exhibited antibacterial effect against many
pathogens. The extract showed significant
excitatory action on isolated uteri of guinea
pigs, rats and rabbits. Oral administration of
fresh juice increased the contraction of the
uteri and strengthened it of pregnant woman.
The decoction showed inhibitory action on iso-
lated frog heart and on isolated guinea pig
small intestines. It also had hypotensive,
diuretic actions and the action of enhancing
intestinal peristalsis. Since it contains rich
vitamin A-like substance,it promoted epithelial
cells to play normal function.

The drug is used as
febrifuge, detoxicant; for the treatment of
enteritis, bacillary dysentery, carbuncles and
sores,snake and insect bite, hemorrhoid,eczema,
functional postpartum uterine bleeding, appen-
