Whole herb contains quercetin, quercetin-3-O-
glucoside, kaempferide, kaempferide-3-O-galac-
toside, p-hydroxybenoic acid, kaempferol-3-
glucoside, etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
1.Oral administration, the drug exhibited cho-
leric action.
2.The injection of the extract and total fla-
vone showed marked inhibitory action on animals
acute inflammation exudate and chronic inflam-
mation action showed marked inbibitory action
against histamine-induced blood vessel permea-
bility increase in mice, Crotonis oils-induced
ear conch inflammation in mice, fresh egg white-
indued axthritical swelling in rats and cotton
ball-like granuloma in rats.
3.The drug inhibited cellular immunity and hu-
moral immunity in mice, could enhance macro-
phage and neutrophil leucocyte phagocytosis in
mice, added with cyclphosphamide could enhance
imnunosuppression.
4.The filtrate of the drug showed preventive
and therapeutic effects on glycol-induced uro-
genital system calculus in rats, and also exhi-
bited sedative effect.
5.Antibacterial action: The aqueous extract
showed inhibitory action against Staphylococcus
aureus.
