| Pharmacology Actions: |
1. Antibacterial action: Plating method test,
50% decoction showed inhibitory action aginst
Staphylococcus aureus, Shigella flexneri,Sal-
monella typhi, Escherichia coli. Tube dilu-
tion method test,3%-5% aqueous extract showed
inhibitory action against Microsporum auodo-
uini and Microsporam rust and other fungi. At
1:30 concentration, the drug showed inhibitory
action against Pseudomonas aeruginsa.
2. It is used for the treatment of acute con-
junctivitis, nebula of cornea.
3. The drug mixture are used for treatment of
chronic ansosinusitis. specially to refractory
patient.

The drug is used to dispel pathogenic wind,
improve eyesight and remove nebula; for the
treatment of redness of eyes due to wind-
heat, acute conjunctivitis, nebula in eyes,
night blindness.
