| Pharmacology Actions: |
1. It had hemostatic effect, promoted blood
coagulation, lowered capillary permeability.
2. Domestic wormwood oil could relax tracheal
smooth muscle, exhibited anti-asthma effect, and
antitussive effect and expectorant effect.
3. In vitro, the aqueous extract showed inhibi-
tory action against Staphylococcus auresu, hemo-
lytic StreptococcusType-A, Diplococcus pneumo-
niae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Shigella son-
nei, Salmonella typhi and Bacillus paratyphosus,
vibrio cholerae and many pathogenic fungi.
4. Domesic wormwood oil could normalize the
function of gallbladder and showed sedative ef-
fect.
5. Moxa-cone Moxibustion could enhance body's
cell immunal stimulant function.
