| Pharmacology Actions: |
1.Action on cardiovascular system: its injection
dilated the coronary vessels of the isolated
normal and arrhythmia hearts of guinea pigs,and
greatly increased the coronary flow;it also an-
tagonized coronary constriction due to pituitrin,
decreased the heart rate and strengthened car-
diac contractility after inhibiting it.
2. Antiviral effect:in vitro, the decoction or
extract fluid inhibited poliomyelitis virus and
some enteroviruses.
3. Diuretic effect:avicularin injected at 0.5-
2mg/kg intravenously to anesthetized dogs pro-
duced various degree effects,
