The drug shows ¦Â-sitosterol and ¦Â-sitosterol-
D-glucoside reactions.

| Pharmacology Actions: |
Tuber slight elliptic, conic or semi-round, 0.5-
1.5cm in diameter, 0.8-3cm high. Externally whi-
tish or yellowish, not smooth, many inconspicuous
dotted root scars. Texture hard, sections white,
powdery. Odor slight, taste pungent, anaesthesia.
