hard, woody. Odour slightly fragrant,taste slight.

the exterior to reduce fever, sooth the depressed
liver and invigorate the spleen-yang, for the
treatment of fever of common cold, alter spells
of chills and fever, malaria, fullness and pain
in the chest and disphragm, menstrual disorder,
proctoptosis, hysteroptosis.
