| Pharmacology Actions: |
External application of
the powders showed marked hemostatic effect on
scalds and burns. The decoction had significant
hemostatic effect. Its decoction suppressed the
emetic action of intravenous injection of the
digitalis tincture. The decoction exerted
various degrees of inhibitory action against
many common pathogens in vitro. It deactivated
bacteriophages and inhibited their multiplica-
tion in the bacterial bodies.

febrifuge, antidote, blood purifying agent,
hemostatic; for the treatment of melena,
hemorrhoidal bleeding, hematuria, metrorrhagia,
