D-N-methylcoclaurine and laudanine. Leaf con-
tains cocculidine, cocculine, erythroculine,
l-reticuline, coccafine, isoboldine, norisobol-
dine, menisdaurilide, etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
1. Laurifoline had curari-like effect.
2. Trilobine had antipyretic effect on rabbits
with fever. Small dose could excite the rabbit
intestines and uteri, while large showed anes-
thetic effect.

swelling, relieve pain, promote digestion, re-
lieve diarrhea. For the treatment of lumbago
due to rheumatic condition, traumatic injuries,

diarrhea, chest appression, oliguria, hookworm
infestations, etc..
