hydrate, phellopterin, etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
In vitro studies proved
that 1:10 aqueous decoction of Angelica anomala
had inhibitory action against many pathogenic
bacteria. The water extract also showed inhibi-
tory action against pathogenic fungi. Linear
furocoumarin from A. dahurica f. var. formosana
had photosensitization action.

The drug is used as
anti-rheumatic agent, diuretic, anti-swelling
agent, analgesic,for the treatment of headache,
particularly pain in the forehead and stuffed
nose due to colds, toothache,rheumatic arthral-
gia, metrorrhagia, leukorrhagia.
