| Pharmacology Actions: |
Tuber conic or obovate, slight flat, upper part
round and lower part sharp, 2-10cm long, 2-4cm
in diameter. Externally yellow white or gray
yellow, showing stem scar on top, and dotted fi-
brous root scars. Texture heavy, difficult to
be broken. Section gray yellow or pale brown,
slight even, showing loose dots and slated hori-
zontal striations. Odour slight, taste slight
bitter, pungent and anaesthesia

It is used to remove blood stasis, smooth Qi,
promote digestion,reduce pain;for the treatment
of blood stasis, mass formation in abdomen,
liver and spleen swelling, abdomen pain with
menotasis, indigestion.
