| Pharmacology Actions: |
1. Curzerenone derivaties 803 showed inhibitory
action on xylol-induced ear swelling in mice, egg
white-induced and formaldehy-induced paw swelling
in rats, crotonic oil-induced granulation tissue
proliferation in rats.
2. Curzerenone derivaties 803 showed significant
improvement on high molecular dextran-induced
microcirculatory disturbance.

| Actions and Indications: |
Turmeric Rhizome is
used as bloodactivator, calming the nerves, and
easing the mind; for the treatment of amenorr-
hea, dysmenorrhea, impairment of consciousness
in febrile disease, mania, jaundice, epilepsy.
Turmeric Root-tuber is used as tranquilizor,
analgesic; for the treatment of distending or
pricking pain in the chest and abdomen, dys-
menorrhea, hematemesis, epistaxis, hematuria,
jaundice,impairment of consciousness in febrile
diseases,epilepsy, mania.The rhizome is used as
stagnant blood dispelling agent, digestion pro-
motor, analgesic; for the treatment of amenorr-
hea, distension and pain due to stagnation of
undigested food, traumatic injuries.
