The drug contains tanshinone, I,
IIA , and IIB, cryptotanshinone, isotanshinone
I and II, miltirone, methyl tanshionoate, hy-
droxythanshinone, IIA, salvoil, catechal, dan-
shenxinkun, A, B, and C, dihydrotanshinone,
etc..

| Pharmacology Actions: |
It significantly inc-
reased coronary flow and lowered coronary
resistance. Tanshinone IIA sodium sulfate
showed therapeutic effect on heart stroke, myo-
cardial ishemia and infarction. The total tan-
shinones, cryptotanshinone showed strong
inhibitory action against allergic and drug-
resistant strains of Staphylococcus aureus.

The drug is used as
blood-activator,anti-swelling agent, analgesic,
tranquilizer; for the treatment of menstrual
disorder, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, mass forma-
tion in the abdomen, pricking pain in the chest
and abdomen, sores and boils, fidgets and
insomnia, etc..
