The Voice Restoring Capsules are designed specifically for patients who have contracted an acute sore throat, possibly with hoarseness. Such a sore throat can get better rather rapidly; ideally a patient should be able to work closely with a practitioner of TCM who could decide how much attention to the hoarseness and sore throat was required, and how much attention should be given to the often-accompanying cold or flu symptoms.
